ALMIRO (Jorge Lourenço) LOBO was born in Chinde (Zambizia) on 16 July 1960. He conducted primary and secondary studies in the Province of Zambézia, was at the Center 8 March 1978 to become a Portuguese Professor.

He taught in Mepanhira (Mecanhelas-Niassa) in 1979 and 1980. Bachelor of Portuguese Education at EMU, Graduate in Portuguese and English Studies, Master of Literature Africans, Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon, is Assistant Professor at the School of Letters and Social Sciences of EMU.

Published The Writing of the Real (1999), Rehearsed Readings (2013), Mozambique in Portuguese Texts of the 18th Century (2013), Literature: Neutral or Engaged (co-authorship) (2014), and The Berlinde with Eusébio inside (2016).
