He was born in the city of Lourenço Marques. He writes chronicles and critical reviews for magazines and newspapers.

In the booksellers' bookshelves you can find several publications of its authorship: collections of short stories, novels, an interview book, a history of children's literature and a collection of traditional tales.

In 2005, he received the Rui de Noronha Award awarded by FUNDAC. In 2011, he was awarded an honorable mention at the Sonangol Literature Grand Prix.

He is the director of Lithangu and Chairman of the General Assembly Bureau of the Association of Mozambican Writers.
