Eduardo White

Life Story

Eduardo Costley White was born in Quelimane (Mozambique) on November 21, 1963.

He joined a literary group that founded the Charrua Magazine in 1984. Along with other poets, he also collaborated with the Gazeta de Letras e Artes da Revista Tempo, a publication whose importance, as well as Charrua, was indisputable for the development of Mozambican literature.

Through these journals, an intimate poetic maker was affirmed, characterized by existential and universalizing concern.

He collaborated with the Portuguese-speaking press and is the author of the following books:

He also wrote for the newspaper Zambéze, Canal de Moçambique, Independent Magazine, Mozambique and Revista Tempos Livres, Lisbon, Portugal. His poetry has been exhibited at the Val-du-Marne Museum in Paris since 1989.
