Life Story

Jorge de Oliveira was born in Maputo, on April 2, 1971, son of Mozambican mother and Portuguese father.

He coordinated, in the 1990s, the Gazeta de Artes e Letras da Revista Tempo, at the time, mandatory parade space in the Portuguese language universe.

He graduated in Law and a Master's Degree in Legal Sciences (having published the short notions of Commercial Law, Legal Interviews – Law notions for all Citizens and vast scientific material resulting from his activity as a University Teacher).

He was Vice-President of the Bureau of the General Assembly, President of the Fiscal Council and Secretary-General of the Association of Mozambican Writers. He works as Editor and Reviewer of scientific and literary works by some of the major Mozambican authors. His work, as a writer, are made of the Soul, Tyre in Flames (romance), When the days are bad to the stars (tales) and Days torn in half (romance).

He is one of the Mozambican writers present in the "War Anthology" Reports.
