Professor Renato Matusse born on February 2, 1958 in Mundiane, catapulted to the stardom by the media Rosita, the child born on top of a tree, at the height of the devastating floods of 2000. Mundiane is located in the Chibuto District, Gaza Province. It was in that locality that Matusse began his process of socialization and integration into the modus vivendi of his community, through social, cultural and linguistic interaction.

After the deluvian floods of 2000 it moved and settled to the shores of the Mzingan Lagoon, so idyllic that leaves in many the impression of being the place where, it seems that the paradise was photocopied. With a PhD in Sociolinguistics from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Great Britain (1998), Matusse has published works in her area of expertise and on diverse socio-cultural themes, as well as taking part in seminars, conferences and colloquies. His works include the following books:

• History of Informatics in Mozambique, 2004, revised and expanded in 2014,

Member of Generation 8 March, Matusse has been in the public sector since 1977 and is currently LAM's non-executive administrator. He was the Political Affairs Advisor of the President of the Republic (2005-2015), Director for Affairs of SADC, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (2001-2005), Secretary-General of the Coordination Committee for Culture, Information and Sport Programmes of SADC (1995-2003). Prior to these duties he was Director-General of ARPAC (1992-1995), Deputy Director at the Institute of Languages (1985-1992) and Director of Secondary Schools in Gaza (1979-1982). In this work, Professor Matusse outlines the profile of a citizen who has become a national hero thanks to his commitment to the liberation of the homeland, to defend his sovereignty and to build the well-being of his people. In fact, Colonel General Fernando Matavele, since joining FRELIMO until his death, with a sense of homeland and mission, fulfilled all the tasks entrusted to him.
