MINEDH "purifies" ranks

The MINISTRY for Education and Human Development (MINEDH) is verifying the legality of hiring teachers across the country, with a view to the ranks.

The measure, according to the Minister of Education and Human Development Carmelita Namashulua, appears after teachers who were illegally hired to teach in the district of Mecanhelas were detected, resulting in the expulsion of 88 with the degree level (N1).

The hiring took place in 2020, without authorization, which resulted in the existence of 144 N1 professionals in the district, which for the Minister of Education was strange.

"The Ministry of Education, the Attorney General's Office, as well as the provincial, are following the matter, since it is a crime," he said.

Namashulua explained that, in addition to illegal hiring, the hourly load of teachers was not complete, which constituted theft to the State.

" Thus, we are reorganizing the shifts so that the teacher enjoys his rights," explained Namashulua.

The leader recalled that the hirings in the Public Administration go through a public tender, duly authorized and according to the need of each province.
