White's poetry is also a space that expresses the contradictions of the condition of being a poet, not fitting the subject of this writing into a human being who lives the routine of having a vulgar job, an existence without poetry. However, love seems to be the means of creating poetry and beauty, which enable us to fight against the horror of everyday life, reconciling the poet with man and his country.

By its name the Journal suggested "a generation of challengers" committed to making a literary vehicle characterized by ruptures. By defying his memories, he reevaluated the intentions of the writers involved in this initiative: "what we intended was not to destroy, but [...] to stir up the state literature [...], he disapplause it, to criticize it, but to propose things of our own [...], new things, things that we found at that time [...]. We as writers lived in a country where the mediocre literature was applauded: every day we saw in the newspaper the promotion to the literature of chavão, do viva, [...] of flattery. And then we proposed: let's dig this out, bring things in times when good literature can come to us."

Charrua did not understand publications related to any literary movement. The plurality of her ideas prevented her from this restricted commitment: "We published from Person to Aimé Césaire". His bond remained only with "a group of young people who wanted to show their work".
