Kaliza M'Mimba Time Busters – Isabel Ferrão

The desired relationship of complicity between the past and the present embodies an intriguing and multifaceted cultural dialogue.
In "Kaliza m’mimba, Apeseiros do Tempo", Isabel Ferrão revives, then, this simultaneous exercise of resonances of orality and combined writings, rescuing experiences of a mythical Zambeze Valley, repository of a long and mature process of miscogenation.
Long ago the need for the recomposition of the memory of our past required a novel like this. The stories of the Zambezi Valley ran the risk of remaining exclusively associated with a reducing mysticism and supported above all in the animalistic universe: the crocodiles of the Zambezi River and the lions would only be transfigured men at night and returned to the human condition in the morning.
"Kaliza m’mimba, Time Apes" has the merit of rescuing the source of knowledge that orality cultivates and of broadening the understanding of the mechanisms and ingredients with which it is built or is building Mozambican history and identity. Pulverizes the alleged hegemony of ideologically elaborated discourses, infiltrating the mysteries and experiences that the Zambeze Valley has caldeou.
So history doesn't get lost in time. Almiro Lobo
